BALA (Broad Area Linear Array)

• Provides very even illumination along the length of the light, with controlled fall off in the transverse direction
• Designed to provide low angle of incidence illumination over a long, wide area
• Applications requiring very even illumination over a wider area can utilize two BALAs aligned parallel to and facing each other
• AL150 Derivatives: AL46120 (20”), AL4554 (9”), AL4424 (4”)

Edge Lit LED Backlight

• Uniform illumination and low heat output

• Available in 4mm or 20mm spot sizes
• Can be used as a diffuse light source

Low Power Linear Backlights

• Extremely consistent light over the entire active area of illumination
• 25mm (1”) wide illuminated strip in a 33mm (1.3”) wide housing

HighPower Linear Backlight

• 70% brighter than the BL138
• Perfect for line scanning applications: 507,000 lux
• Expandable in 6” increments; available in lengths from 6” up to 90”

High Power Linear Backlights

• 295,000 lux – perfect for line-scanning applications
• Available 6” increments from 6” to 96” with the exception of a 3” model
• Intensity control of entire light via 0 – 10v input

Back Lit Low Profile Backlights

• Edge to edge back lighting in a 12mm (.48”) thick housing

Linear

• Even illumination over the full 25 x 300mm field of view – ideal for coaxial line scan applications
• Includes high efficiency, coated easy clean dust cover to protect the beam splitter combining glass

Legacy Medium Power

• Consistent diffuse illumination over the 50mm x 50mm (2” x 2”) field of view
• Utilizes heat sinking to cool the illumination source, providing low maintenance and long life performance
