Rugged UPS ANB1501 for High Density Mission Power
The Rugged UPS ANB1501 delivers a new level of portable and resilient power for demanding environments. Manufactured by Acumentrics, this 1U rugged blade UPS provides 1500VA or 1250W of continuous AC output power in a narrow rackmount design that saves valuable space while maximizing performance.
Parallel and N+1 Redundancy
The Rugged UPS ANB1501 is engineered for scalability and resilience. When additional power is required, up to two units can be connected in parallel to deliver a total of 3000VA or 2500W. This flexibility makes it suitable for expanding systems without redesigning the entire power architecture.
For mission critical applications, the unit supports N+1 configuration. For example, when 1250W is required, two units can share the load. If one unit experiences a fault, the remaining unit automatically supports the full load without interrupting power delivery. Advanced internal hardware and digital control systems ensure stable output quality even during load redistribution.
Military and Industrial Environments
The Rugged UPS ANB1501 is designed specifically for military and rugged industrial markets. It complies with MIL standards including MIL STD 810G, MIL STD 1399, MIL STD 1275, and MIL STD 167 1. These certifications ensure reliable performance under vibration, shock, shipboard conditions, and vehicle power environments.
The system accepts a wide AC input range from 80 to 265 VAC and operates across 47 to 440 Hz frequency, making it suitable for worldwide deployment. It delivers regulated 115 VAC output to protect sensitive equipment.
Battery options include a lightweight lithium iron phosphate pack offering approximately 7 minutes of backup time, or a valve regulated lead acid battery with 2 minutes of backup. Both battery types are housed in user replaceable packs for simplified maintenance.
