Rugged UPS ACG3000 for High Power Military Applications
The Rugged UPS ACG3000 is engineered to deliver robust and reliable power in the most demanding operational environments. Developed by Acumentrics, this 4U rackmount unit provides 3000VA or 2400W of continuous power with flexible AC and DC input and output options.
AC and DC Output Flexibility
One of the major advantages of the Rugged UPS ACG3000 is its ability to manage both AC and DC outputs simultaneously. Power management allows various combinations of AC and DC power up to the full rated capacity. The combined output is monitored through an LED bar graph and protected against overload conditions.
The system supports AC output options of 115V or optional 230V. DC output options include 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V, and 54V, making the Rugged UPS ACG3000 adaptable to a wide range of mission equipment and communication systems.
Dual Input and Double Conversion
The Rugged UPS ACG3000 accepts true worldwide AC input from 80 to 265 VAC across 47 to 440 Hz. It also supports DC input from 20 to 32 VDC. The dual input system automatically selects the appropriate power source. In the event of AC loss, external DC input takes priority over the internal battery.
On line double conversion technology ensures clean and stable output power. Incoming power is converted to DC and then inverted to the required AC or DC output voltage. This protects sensitive equipment from surges, spikes, brownouts, and electrical noise. Transfer between power sources occurs seamlessly with zero switchover time.
Harsh Environments
The Rugged UPS ACG3000 features a lightweight all aluminum welded chassis for durability without excessive weight. The unique Flo Thru heat sink tunnel design and gasket sealed enclosure protect internal components from moisture, dust, and airborne contaminants.
Battery options include a lithium iron phosphate pack offering approximately 7 minutes of backup at full load, or a valve regulated lead acid battery providing about 6 minutes. Both options are housed in user replaceable packs for rapid field servicing.
Certified to MIL STD 810G, MIL STD 461F, MIL STD 1399, MIL STD 1275, and MIL STD 167 1, the Rugged UPS ACG3000 is purpose built for military platforms where reliability and uptime are non negotiable.
