Manufactured by Acumentrics, this UPS delivers 1250VA or 1000W of continuous output while supporting both AC and DC input and output configurations. Its advanced power management ensures critical systems stay operational in extreme conditions.
AC and DC Output Flexibility
The Rugged UPS ACG1253 allows various combinations of AC and DC output up to its full 1000W capacity. The integrated LED bar graph provides real-time load monitoring while protecting the system from overloads. Standard AC output is 115V, with optional 230V, while DC outputs include 12V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V, and 54V. This versatility enables deployment for communications systems, radar equipment, tactical networks, and other critical infrastructure.
Dual Input and On-Line Double Conversion
Supporting worldwide AC input from 80 to 265 VAC (47–440 Hz) and DC input from 20 to 32 VDC, the Rugged UPS ACG1253 intelligently selects the optimal power source. If AC fails, DC input takes precedence over the internal battery. Its on-line double conversion technology converts input power to DC and then back to the required AC or DC output, protecting sensitive equipment from surges, spikes, brownouts, blackouts, and electrical noise. Switchover occurs seamlessly with zero interruption.
Designed for Extreme Environments
The UPS features a lightweight all-aluminum chassis with welded construction for durability and portability. Flo-Thru technology and a gasketed heat-sink tunnel protect internal components from moisture, dust, and airborne contaminants. Battery options include a lithium iron phosphate pack, providing up to 30 minutes of backup at full load, and a VRLA lead-acid battery providing 15 minutes. Both are user-replaceable for rapid hot-swap field service.
Certified to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-1399, MIL-STD-1275, and MIL-STD-167-1, the Rugged UPS ACG1253 is purpose-built for military and rugged industrial deployments requiring reliable and portable power solutions.
