The successful candidate will be based in Ottawa and responsible for growing sales in Ottawa, Ontario region. The successful candidate is highly technical and experienced in sales with machine vision, automation or other camera or computing technologies. You will be responsible for increasing the market share and presence for our computing and machine vision portfolio of including custom engineering and integration services.
Desired Skills & Experience
- With strong focus on sales, you have a history of exceeding sales quotas
- Build and execute a business plan to grow revenue and take market share in the territory
- Able to operate independently
- Extensive local travel and minimal overnight travel required
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively from engineering to senior management in a complex, competitive solutions sale environment
- Ability to understand the customer specific needs at all levels and provide solutions
- Ability to manage multiple, complex sales and support situations
- Working understanding of the technologies in both embedded computing and imaging as well as complimentary integration and engineering design services.
- 3 years of successful sales experience in technology, preferences given to automation, machine vision or image processing solution sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or advanced electronics or electrical technologists degree or equivalent preferred
- Strong command of the English language both verbal and written a must
