The Rugged UPS ANG1251 sets a new benchmark in portable high density power solutions. Developed by Acumentrics, this 1U rackmount system delivers 1250VA or 1000W of continuous power in an ultra compact footprint. It is specifically engineered for military and defense applications where reliability, portability, and performance are essential.
Parallel and N+1 Capability
One of the defining strengths of the Rugged UPS ANG1251 is its ability to operate in parallel. Up to eight units can be connected to provide a total of 10kVA or 8000W of continuous output power. For mission critical environments, the system supports N+1 fault tolerant configurations.
For example, if an application requires 7kW, eight units can be deployed with one acting as redundancy. If a unit fails, the load is automatically redistributed across the remaining units without affecting output quality. This advanced hardware and software integration ensures seamless power continuity.
On Line Double Conversion
The Rugged UPS ANG1251 uses on line double conversion technology to deliver clean and stable power. Incoming AC or DC input is converted to DC and then precisely inverted to the required AC or DC output voltage. This protects sensitive equipment from surges, spikes, brownouts, blackouts, and electrical noise.
With dual input capability, the unit automatically prioritizes AC shore power, followed by DC input, and then the internal battery. Transfer between sources occurs with zero switchover time, ensuring uninterrupted load protection.
Built for Harsh Environments
Engineered to meet demanding military standards, the Rugged UPS ANG1251 complies with MIL STD 461F, MIL STD 810G, MIL STD 1399, and additional shock and vibration certifications. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from minus 20 to 60 degrees Celsius when equipped with the lithium ion battery option.
The innovative Flo Thru cooling design protects internal components from airborne contaminants while optimizing airflow and reducing acoustic noise. Users can choose between a lightweight lithium ion battery pack offering up to 10 minutes of backup time, or a sealed lead acid battery option.
