Rugged UPS ACG2500 for Mission Critical Power Systems
The Rugged UPS ACG2500 is engineered to provide dependable and high capacity power in harsh military environments. Developed by Acumentrics, this 4U rackmount system delivers 2500VA or 2000W of continuous output while supporting both AC and DC input and output configurations.
Flexible AC and DC Output
The Rugged UPS ACG2500 offers versatile power management. Users can configure various combinations of AC and DC output up to the full 2000W rating. The integrated LED bar graph clearly indicates total combined output and protects the unit from overload conditions.
AC output options include 115V standard with optional 230V capability. DC output options include 12V, 24V, 28V, 36V, and 48V, making the Rugged UPS ACG2500 suitable for communication systems, command centers, and vehicle mounted platforms.
Dual Input and Double Conversion
The Rugged UPS ACG2500 accepts worldwide AC input from 80 to 265 VAC across frequencies from 47 to 440 Hz. It also supports DC input from 20 to 32 VDC. The intelligent dual input system automatically selects the most appropriate power source. In the event of AC failure, external DC input takes priority over the internal battery.
On line double conversion technology ensures that connected equipment receives clean and regulated power at all times. Incoming power is converted to DC and then inverted to the required output voltage, protecting sensitive electronics from surges, spikes, brownouts, blackouts, and electrical noise. Transfer between sources occurs with zero switchover time.
Built for Harsh Environments
The Rugged UPS ACG2500 is housed in a compact all aluminum welded chassis that balances strength and reduced weight. The advanced Flo Thru heat sink tunnel design and gasket sealed enclosure protect internal components from moisture, airborne particles, and contaminants.
Battery options include a lithium iron phosphate pack providing approximately 9 minutes of backup time, or a valve regulated lead acid battery offering about 8 minutes. Both battery types are enclosed in user replaceable packs for fast field servicing.
