Rugged UPS ACG1625 for Compact Mission Critical Power
The Rugged UPS ACG1625 is engineered to deliver reliable and high quality power in space constrained military platforms. Manufactured by Acumentrics, this 2U rackmount system provides 1625VA or 1300W of continuous output while supporting both AC and DC input and output configurations.
Flexible AC and DC Output
The Rugged UPS ACG1625 offers versatile power distribution for mixed load environments. Users can configure combinations of AC and DC output up to the full rated 1300W capacity. The integrated LED bar graph clearly displays total combined load and protects the unit from overload conditions.
Standard AC output is available at 115V with optional 230V. DC output options include 12V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V, and 54V. This flexibility allows the Rugged UPS ACG1625 to support communication systems, vehicle mounted electronics, radar equipment, and command infrastructure.
Dual Input and Double Conversion
The Rugged UPS ACG1625 accepts true worldwide AC input from 80 to 265 VAC across frequencies from 47 to 440 Hz. It also supports DC input from 20 to 32 VDC. The intelligent dual input design automatically selects between AC and DC sources. If AC power is lost, external DC input takes priority over the internal battery.
On line double conversion technology ensures that all connected equipment receives clean, regulated output power. Incoming power is first converted to DC and then inverted to the required output voltage. This process protects sensitive electronics from surges, spikes, brownouts, blackouts, and electrical noise. Transfer between power sources occurs with zero switchover time.
Harsh Environments
The Rugged UPS ACG1625 is housed in a durable all aluminum welded chassis that reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity. The Flo Thru heat sink tunnel design and gasket sealed enclosure protect internal components from moisture, dust, and airborne contaminants.
Battery options include a lithium iron phosphate pack offering approximately 9 minutes of backup time at full load, or a valve regulated lead acid battery providing about 3 minutes. Both battery packs are user replaceable, enabling rapid maintenance in the field.
Certified to MIL STD 810G, MIL STD 461F, MIL STD 1399, MIL STD 1275, and MIL STD 167 1, the Rugged UPS ACG1625 is purpose built for reliable performance in mission critical deployments.
