The Komodo II Quad CoaXPress MXM Frame Grabber is a compact, high-performance solution for machine vision applications, supporting up to four CoaXPress v2.1 links with data rates of 12.5 Gbps per link. Designed as an MXM card, it fits seamlessly into space-constrained systems while maintaining robust functionality. With a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface and a 2 GB DDR4 frame buffer, it ensures efficient data transfer to the host PC at up to 6,695 MB/s, making it ideal for industrial, defence, and aerospace applications.

This frame grabber supports multi-camera synchronization and provides flexible GPIO options, including TTL, LVTTL, and opto-isolated I/Os, as well as quadrature encoders and strobe control. It operates in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and integrates seamlessly with Windows, Linux, and Nvidia Jetpack. Equipped with API support and plug-ins for MATLAB, HALCON, Cognex, and LabVIEW, the Komodo II Quad CoaXPress MXM is a versatile tool for advanced imaging setups.

Komodo II Quad CoaXPress MXM is the best-in-class Frame Grabber, supporting the CoaXPress v2.1 standard. It can receive video streams from Quad CoaXPress v2.1 links in single, dual or quad modes. It can also be used for simultaneous capture from multiple cameras. Each link supports standard CoaXPress v2.1 bitrates of up to 12.5 Gbps. These features make the Komodo II Quad CoaXPress MXM ideally suited for industrial, defence and aerospace Machine Vision Systems and applications.

The Komodo II Quad CoaXPress MXM can easily receive video streams on the CoaXPress links and transmit them to computer memory through the PCIe interface. This product also provides an external GPIO for machine control signals, such as triggers, timers, shaft encoders, exposure control and general I/O which can be controlled aside video stream acquisition. Our frame grabber uses standard Micro-BNC connectors as a CoaXPress v2.1 interface to the camera. It utilizes PCIe 3.0 x8 links for communication with Host PC for video uploading and configuration.
