The Compact Core Aion is a powerful shortwave infrared camera core designed to meet the growing demands of high-performance imaging applications. Developed by Exosens, this compact solution combines advanced sensor technology with efficient design to deliver precise and reliable SWIR imaging.
Equipped with an uncooled InGaAs sensor, the Compact Core Aion provides excellent sensitivity in the 0.9 to 1.7 micrometer spectral range. This enables accurate detection and imaging in conditions where visible light is limited or unavailable, making it ideal for industrial, defense, and scientific applications.
High Performance Capability
The Compact Core Aion features a VGA resolution of 640 x 512 with a 15 micrometer pixel pitch, ensuring sharp and detailed image capture. Its high frame rate of up to 178 frames per second supports fast-moving and dynamic environments, allowing users to capture critical data in real time.
With read-out noise below 50 electrons in high gain mode, the camera core delivers clear and low-noise images. This enhances accuracy in applications such as machine vision, inspection, and surveillance, where precision is essential.
Compact Design
Designed with integration in mind, the Compact Core Aion offers a lightweight structure under 50 grams and compact dimensions of 30 x 30 x 26 mm. This makes it suitable for space-constrained systems and portable devices.
Its low power consumption, below 1.2 watts at 30 frames per second, ensures energy efficiency without compromising performance. The camera supports multiple output interfaces including DF40, CameraLink, and USB, allowing easy integration into various platforms.
The Compact Core Aion is available with or without a lens and supports C-type lens mounting, providing flexibility for different application requirements. Its modular architecture simplifies system integration for OEMs and developers working on advanced imaging solutions.
